Singing voice effects software. Ever since I have updated my iMac to Yosemite, I cannot open Google Chrome. When I click the icon on my dock, it will bounce up and down forever and then I will have to force quit the application to stop it.
Type sudo killall Google Chrome on the Terminal. If this does not work, do this: pgrep -x 'Google Chrome' You will see a number, then type kill -9 numberhere where numberhere is the number that the pgrep command returned. Hey, this is my favorite Yosemite Chrome icon! The only issue is the icon is slightly larger than stock Yosemite icons (such as Safari). In other words, the circle diameter is slightly too long.
I have tried re-installing the app and turning off the firewall but that still won't fix the problem, however if I try and open Google Chrome on another user on my iMac, it will work perfectly.
