Enemies

Space Monkeys are new enemies that appear in Ascension, where they steal the players' perks in the form of attacking Perk-a-Cola machines. They replace the Hellhounds on this map. The space monkeys will attack a perk machine until the player loses his/her perk. Once the machine has been disabled you must re-buy the perk. Therefore, it would seem that the effect of Perks are linked to either the machines or the monkeys. If the players successfully kill all monkeys without having any machines attacked then they will occasionally drop a mystery cola at the end of a round, giving the player a random perk. The monkeys arrive in rockets crashing onto the ground. It is believed that Rictofen and the monkeys are connected with the next map pack. We will probably see them again.
Zombies, also known as Nazi Zombies due to the fact that most zombies were Nazis when they were infected (although not always the case), are dead reanimated by Element 115.

The Zombies have varying speeds, one of which is exclusive to Verrückt, and another exclusive to Shi No Numa, another in Der Riese. They are:

  • A slow stumble with arms by their sides.
  • A normal walk with their arms waving in the air and their faces glancing upward at the sky.
  • A jog with arms straight out (like Frankenstein and in older classic Zombie films).
  • A sprint, with one arm in front of them pointing down and the other behind them in the air.
  • In Verrückt, some zombies have a sprint-like speed with their shoulders forward and arms moving as a person would while running (although to less of an extent). These are considerably faster than any other speed, and run at roughly the same speed that the player does with a pistol (without sprinting). Any other gun class requires the player to sprint in order to not get caught by them.
  • In Shi No Numa, some zombies walk in a Karate-like stance, a reference to them being Japanese.
  • In Nacht Der Untoten, Verrückt, Der Reise and Kino der Toten, some zombies walk like they are marching, an obvious reference to Hitler's troops.
  • In Kino der Toten and 'Five' , some zombies in the early rounds limp.
  • In Black Ops, the last zombie alive will go from a regular walker to a runner when shot (this is most common on Kino Der Toten).
  • In the iPhone version, after a minute or so of chasing, zombies begin to sprint.
  • In Ascension, some zombies stumble, roll, or fall over. There also seems to be a new way for the crawlers to move. In the centrifuge room, the zombies can jump more then 10 feet from the first floor up to the second, which is strange, considering that it is physically impossible for a human to do so. It is currently unknown why these zombies act different.
  • As mentioned below, zombies in Ascension can also side step, possibly an attempt to dodge bullets.
  • In Acsension, some of the zombies that were Soviet soldiers will forward-roll over one shoulder to get closer to the player, or to attack them, like they were trained to do as soldiers.

The Hellhounds are an aggressive and murderous new enemy first encountered in Shi No Numa. Then become recurring in Der Riese and Kino der Toten. They are deadly dog-like monsters covered in flames that are believed to be the mutated version of Samantha's pet dog, Fluffy. They randomly spawn throughout the map (a ball of lightning will usually erupt whenever they spawn) every 5 to 7 rounds and their sole objective is to kill the player by streaking towards them and either attacking with tooth and claw or by exploding. The ground shakes whenever they spawn or explode.
  • The best gun for Hellhounds is the Trench Gun, as it is always a one hit kill (Depending on range), so at least one person should hold on to one in a group. This has been tested up to and over round 300. The PPSh-41, the Browning M1919, the FG42 and the MG42 are also extremely effective, and can also be used to hold off the Hellhounds indefinitely. The .357 Magnum and the PTRS-41 also work just as well as the Trench Gun, especially in early rounds, although they can be harder to aim at the fast-moving Hellhounds; as for the Double Barreled Shotgun, it works just as well, but frequent reloads make the Trench Gun preferred by most players, as for the Ray Gun, while it always is a one hit kill against the Dogs just like the Trench Gun, using it is quite dangerous as the Hellhounds get close to the player very quickly, causing Splash Damage to kill oneself. The Stakeout shotgun is an effective weapon against the Hellhounds in Black Ops.
  • Despite the weapons above are extremely effective against the Hellhounds, a majority of other weapons in the game are extremely ineffective, Semi-automatics, Bolt-action rifles and the starting M1911 pistol are the worst choices for a Hellhound round, because they are simply too weak, have slower rates of fire than an automatic, and have agonizingly slow reload times. The Flame thrower can incinerate entire crowds of hell hounds, but low mobility and cool-down periods prevent it from being a reliable weapon against the hell hounds as the rounds progress. Explosive devices like the M7 Grenade Launcher and the Panzerschreck are quite dangerous to use as Hell hounds get really close in order to attack, and, unless taken out from a distance, splash damage will kill both the player and the Hellhound. The 4 other Automatic weapons in the game (StG-44, MP40, Type 100, and M1 Thompson) will take [at least] 1 magazine to kill 1 hell hound by round 20.
  • If on a Hellround, camping is the best solution, either in pairs or a group of four. Shotguns and MGs are equally effective, while the Ray Gun is quite dangerous to the player's self, as the dogs will often get very close and cause the player to kill himself with the Ray Gun's splash damage, though this is an insignificant flaw and can still be used on a Hellround. Note that the DG-2 should be saved for Zombie rounds instead, as the area effect has little bearing on Hellhounds (although this is nullified by the fact that the player gets a max ammo power-up at the end of the round, so as long as he keeps a full magazine when the max ammo is taken, he can kill the hellhounds effectively with the Wunderwaffe). If the players have an MG or Trench Gun yet in the first Hellhound, knifing them is rather easy (blindly tested, survived) the player will get damaged, but if he continually knifes in a corner, he should survive.
  • A fairly good camping spot on Shi No Numa is at the first mystery box spawn, just around the corner where the dogs can only come from one direction.
  • Another good spot is the little island to the left of the Comm Room (if facing the Comm Room) if the Comm Room isn't open, then there will be a good 3–4 seconds between dogs. If all the other rooms are open, there is around 10–30 seconds between each individual dog, giving time to reload, which is especially good if using the Browning M1919
  • It is sometimes good to move from one place to another.
  • The Hellhound picks a random target upon spawning, and will not deviate from that target unless it is downed. Because of this, if someone is standing with people blocking the Hellhound from attacking them, it will simply get stuck.
  • On solo, there is never more than 10 Hellhounds per round. Because of this, Bouncing Betty's (if all are placed during rounds between dogs and none are destroyed) can be used to complete a whole Hellround.
  • Dogs will usually not go into the water if they don't have to. The player can use this fact to funnel the Hellhounds. (although this only works on Shi no Numa since that this the only zombie map that contains water.)
  • Another strategy is to have a Submachine Gun (e.g. PPSh-41 ideally) or a Ray Gun, and basically run and jump frequently around and shoot at the Hellhounds. This makes it very hard for the Hellhounds to get the player because one, if he keeps on jumping, it makes it hard for the Hellhounds to line up an attack, and two, if they do attack, they will likely miss since the player has jumped out of the way. Also, when a Hellhound attacks and misses, it will usually stay still for a second before attacking again. the player can use that precious second to his advantage and get an easy kill.
  • In Der Riese, there are a few good camping spots, the first one is the tunnel near the teleporter at the end of the factory, another good spot is the Catwalk next to the tunnel, Hellhounds can't spawn on the catwalk giving time to reload, both can funnel Hellhounds and Zombies alike.
  • Another good strategy (only works with at least 3 people) is to back all teammates against a wall with three solid sides and unleash on the Hellhounds with fully auto weapons.
  • Get out of the starting room as soon as possible, if no doors have been opened, the Hell Hounds are very likely to come at round 5-6.
  • In Der Riese, the Bowie Knife will kill a Hellhound in one attack up to the 3rd Hellhound round, afterwards it is a two-hit kill for the rest of the game.
  • In Kino Der Toten, a Bowie Knife will kill a Hellhound in one hit up until the second hellround.
  • In Kino Der Toten, a good camping spot is in the corner of the screening room, beside the Jugger-nog machine.
  • In World at War, Hellhounds would only attack one random player and if you blocked the way for the Hellhound to get to that player it would look for a way around you. In Black Ops, if you block the way of a Hellhound it will attack you until you move out of the way of its target.
  • If your weapons are not good, it might be useful to run in circles as then the Hellhound will not be able to hit you as easily.
  • It seems that sometimes, hellhounds will only start running at you when they get closer. If you camp on the gangway in 'Der Riese', the dogs will only start running when they get about halfway up the stairs, or earlier if you shoot them. This gives you a chance to 'lock on' to them, as they are walking and make easy targets.
  • On 'Kino Der Toten' a great place to camp is by the Speed Cola machine, as you will have a great visual of the dogs before they get to you as they have to usually come down the stairs. Most important is that the dogs that do come down the stairs will always walk until they are about 3-5 meters away from you, making them easy to kill.
  • On 'Kino Der Toten', back up and camp in the gap between the right of the teleporter (so you can see out into the theatre) and the wall. The Hellhounds seem to struggle to get in the gap and it gives you some time to pick them off and get some rounds into them.

Crawler 'Zombies (called Creepy Crawlers in Dead Ops Arcade) are a special type of Zombie featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops. According to Dr. Richtofen, they are failed experiments. Crawler zombies are not to be confused with 'crawlers', a common name for zombies that have had their legs shot/blown off, and crawl toward the player slowly.
  • These zombies can also have limbs blown off like regular crawlers.
  • Since they release gas similar to Nova 6 gas when killed, it can blur the vision of the player. It can also kill the player if their health is low enough.
  • The crawler zombies appear in the Nazi Zombies level Kino der Toten after turning on the power, and in 'Five' whenever a player is in the lower level, the Science Labs.
  • It is best to deal with these zombies before they get close to the player, so the gas emitted from their corpse does not impair the player while they are fighting the regular horde.
  • These zombies are the first to have the ability to crawl up or down walls.
  • These zombies are also able to be turned into crawlers.
  • Their explosions can kill other zombies walking near them. This makes it useful to kill them when they are in groups, to wipe out some of the horde, however be careful when killing them near Crawlers which you intend to keep.
  • It is possible to dive-to-prone over them to avoid being hit by them.
  • These zombies can put a damper on camping strategies, as they spawn in large numbers, and the gas they emit will make it dangerous for people who are camping as it will impair their vision, leaving them somewhat vulnerable to damage from other zombies.
  • If one stays in the alley area of Kino Der Toten as a round starts, the gas zombies will not not spawn and instead be replaced by the common zombie, even after the power has been turned on.
  • The use of the Bowie Knife is highly advisable against this type of zombie.
  • When they explode, they cause damage to the player, while the gas emitted just blurs vision.
  • These zombies make it difficult to line up zombies for multiple kills with one shot like in World at War, because they are at a different height than generic zombies.
  • Killing them with any Wonder Weapon will not make them explode into gas.
  • Because of these zombies, some players prefer not to turn the power on, as no gas zombies will appear if the power is never turned on.
  • When you turn the power on, you can hear them trying to break through the roof. First you will hear them trying to break through roof at the Scene and in Theater in Kino der Toten. If you or a teammate walk into another room (like the Alley, Dressing Room and so on) you can hear them trying to break through the roof.
  • It's easier to get headshots on these zombies since their heads are bigger and the head is in front of their bodies.

The Cosmic Silver-back is a zombie silver-back gorilla in the Call of Duty: Black Ops zombie map .

The Cosmic Silver-back is the primary antagonist of Dead Ops Arcade, where he serves as the final boss at round 40. He will also appear at the end of a round, usually every five rounds, in an attempt to kill the players; he can be deterred at these times if the player(s) shoot at him and keep their distance, or if they move to the next round. He will appear again when the players see their final scores after they all run out of lives, this time crushing the player with the highest score and stealing all of their treasure.

Call of Duty Mobile has quickly become one of the biggest smartphone games since its release late last year. It has also been steadily developed and we've seen the addition of classic console Call of Duty game modes including the ever-present Zombies.

The good news is that the developers haven't completely closed the door on bringing the Zombies mode back to the mobile version of Call of Duty in a future release. Remote access imac camera.

We had always mentioned it was limited but with no explicit end-date. We wanted to see the reception, see the feedback, and see how we can potentially shape the mode for the future. However, the mode just didn't reach the level of quality that we desire. The second map, Nacht Der Untoten, is also not releasing in the global version.

We may bring the mode back, with Nacht Der Untoten, once we can make sure it is high enough quality, but for now we'll focus on development for Multiplayer, Battle Royale, and Ranked Mode.

So with all of that in mind, you might want to enjoy killing the zombie hordes before the rug gets removed from under your feet on March 25.
